Watching Tv Serials and Dramas, both English and Cantonese alike have become such a significant part of my life that my lifestyle has become so predictable.
Max Tan came online on MSN at 8-ish last night and the first thing he asked ‘Watching your Astro TVB series ah’. Neither admitting nor denying I replied, ‘ Why…’ He then said, ‘You so aunty, not watching TVB means either some Japanese or Korean serials la!’ Bugger, watching serials must be associated with being aunty, is it?
The Wely came online couple of hours later and the first thing that popped from our msn screen was ‘Are u watching ur dramas again? Is it Horatio (from CSI Miami)?’. Not even a ‘Hi’ or ‘How was your day!’. Nooooooooooooooooo
I’ve even become constant drama supplier to Angeline. She would occasionally request from me, ‘Eh, I missed out last few minutes of the ‘mother-in law’ show-la. Can pass to me in your pen drive when I am back in KL (she works in HK – beat that and asking me for TVB movie serials!).
Best part was that I even had a dream from the scene of the Chinese series I watched last night. Balak was having some lovey-dovey chat with his mistress from China on his mobile at 6 am in the morning! How sad has my life become??
Therefore, I HAVE DECIDED EXPEDITE THE PURCHASE OF A GOOD CAMERA to replace my almost obsolete Fuji and start a new hobby! Take more quality pics for the blog. But with my financial status now (after my many holidays and shopping trips and outstanding CC bills from last year), it will be virtually impossible to buy either one of the two cameras below, both recommended by KC – Sony T2(endorsed by my favourite Lin Yu Zhong) or the Canon Ixus 80-IS. I think I will just whine, whinge and whimper to Balak more often…. hopefully my wish will come true! But then again he’s equally as broke. I can already hear it coming, ‘U always ask me go holiday, now ask me buy camera, no need save money to marry la…’ I think it would be more realistic to wish for a good bonus at work..
Which is a better camera to buy???? Decisions, decisions!
