My friend , Mr XXX (no names mentioned here) is so pissed that his creditor is chasing him for his debts until his new rooftop is falling off. What can you do with RM72 these days, he retorts. Placing money over friendship – the Ah Longs are almost going to be called to splash red paint all over his new house. The debt will be repaid, just takes a slightly longer time due to each other’s busy schedule and him not being a fan of Internet Banking.
Oh well, here’s 10 things of what we can do with RM72 nowadays with cost of living rising and inflation going up, up up.
1) Watch movie 7 times alone (*sad*) or 3 times with a partner on 1/2 price Wednesadays
2) Have 2 jugs of beer during happy hours in some dodgy bars and I mean those which the beer girls don’t even look good with your beer goggles.
3) Buy 7 packs of ciggie that’ll probably last y0u only 1 1/2 weeks but will then shorten your life by 7 months.
4) Try your luck with some of the Air Asia RM0 dollar deals, maybe can still goto Bangkok one way and not come back.
5) For Mr XXX, he may want to consider buying the bullet to assasinate his creditor. Assasination fees maybe costs RM1000 for a amateur.
6) Have dinner with your model-like date at a semi-posh restaurant but go Dutch. Unless you have a beemer or merc, rest assured no second date.
7)Fill full tank petrol that will last u again for a week or less and if your car is less than 1.6 CC.
8 ) Go for a 1 hr massage with a Chinese sinseh. No aromatheraphy, no masssage oil, aircon -maybelah. No guarantee ‘No broken bones’.
9) Treat your two best friends to nasi kandar with horribly expensive squid during some live football match. Dinner and drinks + some papadums and you’re probably looking at that cheque amount.
10) and finally…buy the Black Eyed Peas CD and perhaps you may even find some Boy George’s classics in the ‘cheap cheap’ CD rack….do u really want to love me…do u really want to make me cry..
Where else can we splurge RM72…?? Two Mojitos please!
